Hi Deanne-1st part of a two part comment, My name is Leonard C. Tekaat. I am a retired economic analyst and an economic scholar. I am also a member of the Bakersfield Tea Party Patriots and the Central Valley Tea Party. I have been involved in improving our economy since 1980. In the 1970s we had inflation rates of 12%. When the Fed applied its credit tightening money policies, causing mortgage interest rates to soar to 21%, I got mad and very concerned, at the same time. I was concerned about how many people were losing their jobs and their homes. Da, Sounds familiar? I thought to my self, this is stupid, there has to be a better way to control inflation and inflation psychology. I discussed the problem with many people. I read many books and studied history. I came to the conclusion that we were actually being miss-guided to create our own inflation and credit bubbles. We were being rewarded with lower taxes to do something, at the wrong time in the economic cycles of the economy, to harm our own economy. When Fed Chairman Paul Volcker raised interest rates in 1979, what happened was a credit bubble was popped on purpose. This time Fed Chairman Allen Greenspan let the bubble grow and grow until the credit bubble burst on its own, in the name of free market polices. As President Obama is doing now, and President Regan did then, he is taking the advice of the Fed and Wall St., the very same people that helped and profited from the creation of the credit bubble! Hi Deanne: 2nd part of a two part comment, www.recoverygovforthepeople.wordpress.com/ If you agree with my assessment and solution to the problems of the deficit spending, inefficient government policies, unemployment, foreclosures and tax polices, we need to make this information available to as many of the Tea party members, on a national scale, through a chain of information transfer connections, so these misguiding policies can be changed. We must correct the policies that are creating our economy's destruction with GLOOM, BOOM, and Doom economics. You can use this comment to start the flow of information to the nation of Tea Party members.

Hi Deanne - I'd love to know the script you are using for your calling - are you saying 'I'm calling from the tea party'??
Dana talked with us from the Republican party about calling for them and they have a script that also includes their candidates.....
