My wife Barbara and I had the privilege of representing the Central Valley Tea Party last night, September 30, at a regular meeting of the Bakersfield Tea Party Patriots. Their agenda included a local meet and greet forum. The first speaker was Steve Perez, candidate for Kern County 2nd District Supervisor. Barbara has known him for 20 years, since they worked together at Lerdo Jail. Steve is an active member of the Tehachapi Tea Party.

The reason is because I ran for the office in 2006 and received over 14% of the vote. Therefore, my name is the only name that will be counted, no other R or D names will be counted. You can find the documentation on Sec of State website.
